Granite Gallery opened for business in 2006 with a 2000 square foot space. Business was brisk, and in 2009, we moved to our current 14,000 square foot facility in Tumwater, WA.
Working with natural stone began as a hobby for owner Tim Wolph. He started by working odd jobs with a friend, then, when an injury forced early retirement from a career in law enforcement, he branched out on his own. He and the rest of the design and install team enjoy the creative element of what they do and consider each project its own unique work of art.
The bulk of Granite Gallery projects are for individual homeowners and commercial projects. We also work with contractors and can fabricate signage, including monuments.
In-house design staff is available to guide residential customers through the selection process, helping them realize their dream kitchen or bathroom remodel.
Granite Gallery takes care of everything, from ordering to demolition and installation. We work with reputable subcontractors when structural, electric, or plumbing work is involved.
Granite Gallery strives to be green in our business and operational practices. We encourage the use of stone for projects due to the enduring life-cycle of the product. Not only is stone durable and long lasting, there is ease of care and maintenance, requiring only a few natural products. Even if stone is discarded, it is 100% recyclable. We rely upon vendors who quarry stone using best practices, and not only do we recycle our cutting water, but all slurry created during the stone cutting and fabrication process is recycled into concrete.
We are proud to have the only GMM Brio MonoBlock CNC Bridge Saw on the west coast. This state of the art machine allows us to create custom shapes, including curves, for your special projects. We offer a wide variety of edge profiles for your custom counter and table tops. We can drill, carve and carry out lettering on your natural stone or quartzstone slab.
